James's Street Steel has always been regarded within the industry as a company to the forefront when it comes to progress and growth. The company was the first Irish company to import many of the machines now commonly used throughout the industry. We were also the first Irish company to offer a real and reliable Express Service and we have  a reputation for providing the best lead-in times for cut and bent reinforcement in Ireland.

It is important to us that we continue to provide our customers with the best service available. To enable us to do this we need to have the best equipment and best production facilities available. The desire to improve our service, to grow the company and to introduce new machinery, new ideas and new technology continues to this day. The management of the company make regular trips to Britain, Europe and beyond to research the latest developments in rebar fabrication.

As a result of the desire to grow and develop our company and service, a decision was taken in late 2005 to move out of our old facility and build a new rebar cutting and bending factory within the Dublin area. This new facility is located at site 611 Jordanstown road, Greenogue Industrial Estate, Rathcoole, Co. Dublin. This new factory provides us with the capability of producing up to 2000 tonnes of cut and bent reinforcement per week and enables us to deal with the growing demands of the Irish Construction Industry and to reduce lead-in times even further. Construction of the new factory is now complete and the company commenced production there in December 2007.
